About Cranked
Cranked is a mountain bike game from Session Syndicate, a small, self-funded studio founded by the team behind Mad Skills Motocross and Mad Skills BMX.
Cranked is a mountain bike game built to feel like real riding. The trails are handcrafted, and the bike handling is physics-based: the rider controls the whip and the style, with no canned animations. The trails are rough enough to affect the bike, so line choice matters.
The free demo on Steam is Zone 1 of the game's open mountain. It has 37 challenges, race trails, hidden trails, and the Lakeside Enduro: three stages on one bike with no restarts between them. Riders can play online with friends and chase each other down the hill in FPV drone mode.
Publishers passed on Cranked, saying mountain biking was too niche. So the studio funded it themselves, with help from players on Patreon who have been riding development builds and giving feedback for the past year. Session Syndicate has committed to never adding microtransactions.

Cranked MTB game releases free demo on Steam
The downhill mountain bike game from members of the Mad Skills crew is free to play now, with Steam Next Fest starting October 19 and Early Access opening December 1.
